PIGIN is a nonprofit organization founded in the year 2017 which seeks to build a purpose-driven world. As an initiative, we are more concerned about bringing practical solutions to the plethora of problems facing our immediate society and ultimately fighting to have a sustainable environment that would be conducive enough for all demographics to fully explore their human capital to the fullest, thereby achieving their purpose. Our mandate is to build a purpose-driven world, and in doing this, we focus on the ignition of purpose, which involves purpose discovery and purpose actualization. These two main themes underscore our focus as an initiative.

By implication, we seek to promulgate the need for purpose discovery in every youth as early as possible in life. In doing this, orienting youths on purpose discovery remains pertinent to our time-to-time campaigns. We also understand that purpose discovery doesn’t necessarily assure success in life but according to the purpose of a place of fulfillment, hence incorporating purpose actualization packages into our master plan. More so, we acknowledge the place of purpose actualization as serving the human social, emotional, and economic needs and goes beyond. It also helps suit the generations’ needs to come. On this note, we deem it fit to educate that purpose actualization is not mere fulfillment of the purpose for immediate consumption but a journey to ensure a secured tomorrow where individuals would also have access to resources to help them achieve their own goal. On this platform, we are crusading the need for everyone to wake up to their life purpose, live and actualize it so as not to fail the generations to come and deprive them of resources that would have aided their human potential.

Purpose actualization is a massive milestone with many parts ranging from political, environmental, psychological, health, socio-cultural, and economic aspects. PIGIN focuses on the Socio-cultural (Education) and the Economical (Human Capital) aspects, which we consider to be the heart of purposeful living.

In recourse to our focus, it is our priority to ensure that quality education is given to all youths regardless of their socio-economical and socio-cultural backgrounds. We aim to uphold the global Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, ensure the total eradication of illiteracy in all areas of our jurisdictions, and that youths have the primary education sufficient to position them for decent jobs unhindered. Our goal is to give the common man the chance to have better knowledge and advocate for teaching for all, thereby reducing the number of youths that are dropouts. Unemployment and underemployment have rocked every space worldwide, thereby becoming a thorn in the flesh of many global and national citizens. Having education alone will not amount to purpose actualization and economic development but accessibility to material resources. Inability to make a living is undoubtedly a threat to humans achieving their dreams and goals in life, as such material resources are also very pertinent to purpose actualization

However, to have access to material resources, there is a need to develop human capital (help). The aggregate of individuals’ well-being affect the real economic growth and development of any country and for this sake has this initiative focus on human capital development to ensure every youth is fully skilled to get a decent job ultimately affecting the economic growth of their country and be better positioned to actualize their purpose. We desire to converge skill acquisition and life-transforming programmes to pursue this end to reduce unemployment and create means for purpose actualization for all youths. In doing this, we, as a result of this, stand to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8, decent works, and economic development.
