Eligibility Criteria

Purpose Ignition Initiative (PIGIN) is an initiative founded for purposeful living advocacy and human capital development. In that light, any prospective volunteer for the initiative must posses the following qualifications:

A student or gradaute of an tertiary institution in Nigeria;

Willing to impact others as a way of giving back to the society;

Willingness to learn from others;

Willingness to be committed to participating in all PIGIN programmes and other duties that might be assigned; and

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Selection Criteria

The selection process would be based on merit, as applicants with record of maximum participation, who meet the requirements of the recruitment committee alone would be considered. Hence, all applicants are advised to put in their best, as the journey would be a smooth but also challenging for all.

Screening Process


1.

Application

Apply online by filling the form on our registered postal address. Ensure you read the receipt on the form upon submission, as it contains an instruction on how to move to the next stage of the application process

2.

Virtual Orientation

Eligible candidates will be invited for a one-day virtual orientation programme. 

3.

Submission of SOP

Eligible applicants who scaled through the orientation programme would required  to submit  a 100-word statement of purpose detailing the reasons for their interest in joining PIGIN, and how PIGIN can help them achieve their future goals.

4.

Virtual Interview

Eligible applicants would be required to participate in an online interview which would hold on a selected  on a virtual platform that would be communicated as and when due.

5.

Induction

All successful applicants who made it through the screening processes, would be inducted into the initiative as a volunteer member by swearing oath of membership of the initiative. The induction would be virtual; the date and venue of which would be communicated to all successful applicants.
